Backend Software Engineer

As a Backend Software Engineer at Praisidio, you will be working directly with our founders to develop cutting edge technology that addresses the number one enterprise risk. You will be building products from the ground up and will ship new features at a startup speed. We are looking for candidates who are smart, hungry, and humble. We move quickly and expect rapid growth from our team members.

What you will be doing

Develop and design algorithms and code to build and ship new products.
Own features and contribute to them across the stack.
Contribute individually and be a team player to grow your impact.
Prioritize, manage deadlines, iterate on designs, develop, test, and maintain excellent products.
Hire and onboard engineers to build a diverse and excellent team.
Lead by example!

What we are looking for

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical fields.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficient in Python, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform.
Solid experience in building RESTful APIs with GraphQL and micro-services.
Experience working with 3rd party APIs.
Familiarity with data engineering is a plus.
Prior start-up experience.
