Will work directly with the founders and the design team to formalize product requirements. Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability. Propose and implement state-of-the art technology to advance Praisidio's frontend efforts. Monitor security and vulnerabilities in our React application. Expand our frontend engineering team by helping recruit and manage a team of engineers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, CS, Engineering, or related academic field. Three (3) years’ experience in job offered or frontend engineering. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept 5 years of employment experience as suitablecombination of education, training or experience. Any amount of experience in the additional requirements section below will be acceptable unless specific amount is noted. Additional requirements: Prior academic background or work experience to include: 1. Experience working with the following applications: React, Redux, GraphQL, Apollo, WebRTC, WebSockets, NodeJS, Webpack, Flow type system, Semantic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, SQL; 2. Experience working with testing frameworks: Jest and Cypress; 3. Experience building high availability web applications, test driven development, continuous integration, "Full-stack" mentality.
